The general objective of the programme EAU II is to support the Algerian government strategy in the sanitation sector for protection of the country’s water resources on one hand, and on the other to contribute to the reduction of the prevalence of the diseases hydraulically transmitted. The objective of the present contract is to assist the EU Delegation in Algeria in the monitoring and implementation of the programme EAU II. Additionally, the project aimed to support the EUD in the political dialogue with Algeria in the water and sanitation domains related to the programme.
