ACP Countries: Boosting business climate for renewable energy and efficiency

The objective of the project is to promote reforms in macroeconomic policy, improve legislation, the institutional setup and financial measures (rules of the game) relating to the enabling environment of the private sector in climate change mitigation in ACP Countries and/or regions. The specific objective of the contract is to draft a study assessing the technical feasibility and cost of establishing a facility aimed at improving the business climate in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector in ACP countries. More specifically the study assessed the rationale for establishing a new facility and present a potential logical framework matrix. In a second step the study presented a proposal for the operational implementation modalities (organizational setup, budget, work plan, human resources chart etc.).
