Cambodia: Review of status of the National Forest Programme (NFP) / baseline indicators

The Royal Government of Cambodia has been engaged in significant reforms in the forestry sector since 1998, achieving remarkable results in establishing social order and foundation for enhancing sustainable forest management. The sustainability of the forest reform has been pursued through the development and implementation of a National Forest Programme, aiming to place good governance and effective partnerships at the centre of sustainable forest management. The project assessed the initial implementation of the National Forest Programme and its baseline indicators with the ultimate goal to support the Forestry Administration of Cambodia with its future implementation.
