Trade and transport facilitation is key for the socio-economic development of Jordan and in order to support this process, the Government of Jordan established a National Committee for Trade and Transport Facilitation (NCTTF) in 2003. In 2011 the Ministry of Transport established the Executive Secretariat for Trade and Transport Facilitation in order to coordinate and guide trade and transport facilitation. The project provides technical assistance in support to the ESTTF in the further development of Trade and Transport Facilitation operational framework, in promotion of its public-private cooperation, in building its capacities and in implementation of ES TTF strategic goals and operational tasks.
