The overall objective of the project is to achieve a more competitive energy market and integration into the Regional Energy Market. This will be achieved through the strengthening of 
institutional capacities of the Ministry of Economy's Energy Department and the Energy Agency, for developing, monitoring and evaluating the energy sector reforms necessary for alignment with the Energy Acquis and other relevant EU obligations.
