The benefits of renewable energy can be perceived in several areas. For the environment, generating clean sources of energy with lower environmental impact; for the local economies, creating jobs and enhancing local investment; and sustainability because renewable energy will not run out. By boosting the business climate for the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector in ACP countries, we implemented a project aiming at promoting reforms in macroeconomic policies, improving legislation, the institutional setup and financial measures.
Improving the business climate in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector in ACP countries is a high complex matter. By developing appropriate studies, frameworks and agreements with local communities, this project was an important starting point for further programs. Much more needs to be done; we are open for new opportunities for implementing energy efficient systems and renewable energy. Making ideas happen!
