With a long history of tourism development, Croatia is still a paradise to discover. Although it is the 18th most popular tourist destination in the world, most of its treasures are still being undiscovered by tourists. Croatia is one of the richest countries in Europe in terms of biodiversity having four types of biogeographical regions: Mediterranean, Alpine, Pannonian and continental. Therefore, there are plenty of alternatives, not only beautiful beaches.
This is why the current development of tourism is oriented towards quality and diversification of the existing offer. The aim is an even better positioning of Croatia on the international markets, while creating new development possibilities based on the principles of all types of sustainability. Having the objective to enhance the administrative capacity related to tourism policies and to enhance economic and social cohesion, we participated in a fascinating project aiming at reducing seasonality in tourism, contributing to sustainable employment in tourism and enhancing social inclusion of vulnerable social groups.
Kind people, impressive cultural heritage, breath-taking landscapes are part of the hundreds of reasons to visit Croatia. We hope to be back soon. Making ideas happen!
