The East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition (EMITT) brings together practitioners from the tourism industry and took place between 28th and 31st January 2016 in Istanbul, Turkey. Hosting 56.124 visitors and 4.500 companies, it is one of the top 5 international events in the fields of tourism and travel.
ATC Consultants participated in the fair alongside several other Austrian companies acting in the spheres of tourism. We appreciated the opportunity to establish contacts with partners from other countries around the globe and want to thank the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and all organization members who made this idea happen. This is a great annual effort that unites professionals, experts, companies and governments around areas of common interest such as “Branding in Tourism”, “Health Tourism” and “New Trends in Tourism”. It is a remarkable opportunity to get people closer to tourism and culture and to establish future collaborations between organizations and professionals in the industry.
Combining experience, a large tourism portfolio and enthusiasm from different sectors, Turkey has shown the world that it is not only an excellent tourism destination, but also a great partner for the implementation of events, projects and new initiatives. We are very happy for having participated in this event and we are looking forward for attending again next year.
