We are currently looking for experts to work in one of our projects in Egypt. The project aims at improving the image and social perception of TVET.
Key expert 1: PR and Image Building Expert, Team Leader (minimum 270 working days).
Qualifications and skills
-University degree (preferably at Master’s level) in related fields: public administration, economics, human resources management, public relations and communication or any other subject relevant and closely related to the assignment;
-Fluency in writing and speaking in English;
-Sound knowledge of the project cycle management. In particular, a good understanding of the
-European Union project implementation rules is an asset;
General professional experience
-At least 10 years professional experience in planning, monitoring and reporting on PR and Image Building activities preferably related to the field of Education;
-Demonstrated experience in branding and communication strategies;
-Proven experience as Team Leader in at least one 3-year EU funded TA project related to the Reform of TVET system, and at least of similar size and complexity is considered an added advantage.
Specific professional experience
-Minimum of 7 years in TVET projects preferably including specific outcomes related to improving the image and social perception of TVET sector;
-Proven experience in events management and events organization;
-Proven experience in participatory and consultative processes, including facilitating workshops, stakeholder consultations, field surveys, project evaluation and policy reform processes;
-Proven experience in designing and facilitating media campaigns including social media;
-Proven experience in developing national competitions is an advantage;
-Knowledge about production-based learning programmes;
-Strong knowledge about TVET Sector in Egypt is an asset.
Key expert 2: Events Management and Trade Fairs Organization Expert (minimum 250 working days)
Qualifications and skills
-University degree (preferably at Master’s level) in a discipline directly related to the purpose of the contract;
- Fluency in writing and speaking in English;
-Sound knowledge of the project cycle management. In particular, a good understanding of the
European Union project implementation rules is an asset;
General professional experience
-At least 10 years professional experience in events management in general;
- Demonstrated experience in the field of TVET and branding of TVET institutions;
- Proven relevant professional experience in Egypt would be an added advantage;
- Proven experience in organizing seminars and workshops.
Specific professional experience
- At least 5 years experience in organizing events related to branding and image building in service fields preferably related to TVET;
- Proven experience in participatory and organizational processes, including organizing seminars, workshops and stakeholder consultations;
- Proven knowledge about the TVET Sector in Egypt is an asset;
- Previous professional experience with EU funded projects would be an asset;
- Proven experience in working and collaborating with diverse sets of stakeholders, including ministries, employers’ organizations, technical secondary schools and vocational training centers;
- Recognized knowledge of the following areas is highly desirable:
. Changing the image and social perception of TVET in other countries
. Reporting and analyzing events outcomes
. Knowledge and understanding of the Egyptian socio-economic, political and institutional context would be an asset, including the structure and/or characteristics of the labour force and labour market.
Key expert 3: Social Media Expert (minimum 250 working days)
Qualifications and skills
- University degree (preferably at Master’s level) in a discipline related to communication and management of social media;
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills;
- Fluency in writing and speaking in English;
- Sound knowledge of the project cycle management. In particular, a good understanding of the
European Union project implementation rules is an asset;
Excellent writing and reporting skills;
Excellent communication skills;
Analytical and computer skills will be highly valued;
Excellent interpersonal skills are preferable.
Knowledge of the Arabic language is an asset.
